For the fourth year in a row, RCN sponsored the white lights on the 29 trees around Needham town square.
At 12 midnight on November 22, during torrential rainstorms, RCN crews began the work of hanging white lights on the trees around the town square area. The crews returned the next night at 4 am to continue the work. Approximately 300 sets of 100 lights were used.
The community and business owners greatly appreciate the white lights that provide the festive bright atmosphere during the holiday season.
The NBA congratulates and appreciates RCN for their outstanding commitment to the Needham community, and has made RCN the NBA Member of the Month.

The Holiday Tradition Continues...
The Blue Tree was lit for the 51st time on the Town Common and for the 10th time at Avery Square on Sat. November 26th. The event drew a large crowds of families and children anxious to see the lights and to give Santa their wishes. Thank you to Michael Santry MSS Electrical, Hillcrest Gardens, Capron Sound and Lights, Ed Gagnon, Harvey’s Hardware, Lance Remsen and Needham DPW, Al Kennedy, John Bulian, Lida Harkins, Scott Brown, Gerry Wasserman, Charlie Wagner, Kate Fitzpatrick, Kathy Lewis, Needham Fire Department, Kathy Whitney, Mahoney Family, the singers and Louise Condon for their support of the event. Thanks to RCN for their sponsorship of the white lights.
